Building high-performing, healthier, happier teams in a demanding world
There’s a useful point here, that many leaders are still avoiding, and that’s no strategy, no technology, and no brilliant individual will outperform a well functioning team.
There may be an argument for AI & robots, in certain situations, but people need to build, operate and engage with tech. In the real world, its often the people elements that break down and cause projects to slow or even derail.
So the pressure is on in business to improve, to add value, to save time and money, to please shareholders, meet new regs and governance and somewhere in the system, to look after and develop people.
Across industries, leaders are navigating tighter margins, higher expectations, faster change and a good deal of uncertainty. Productivity is under scrutiny, costs are rising, talent is being stretched and asked to do more. In this environment, the difference between businesses that survive and those that thrive often comes down to how well their people work together, how connected they are and if they share, problem solve, support and create a high(er) performing culture.
Post covid and in the current climate, investing in teams and teamwork is a commercial imperative.
